Editing Text

For some reason I can no longer double click on text to edit it. I must edit it in the properties. What would cause this? I restarted my computer and it is still doing it. Also, I cannot delete lines, etc. using the delete button.

Check your PICKFIRST system variable. I don't remember what it is supposed to be so just change it to either 1 or 0 (whichever one it's not).

Also, in the OPTIONS , SELECTIONS tab make sure NOUN/VERB SELECTION is checked!! Weird one I know, but....

FYI, that changes the pickfirst system variable.

I'm having the same problem editing my text. I've tried the fixes you talked about but I still can't edit my text. Any other ideas?
