Spiral reinforcement for round concrete columns and Bored Piers

Hi,
Maybe this is more of wish for the Revit extension but I would like to be able to create Spiral reinforcement for round columns and Bored Piers.

You can though it is a pain, and may not be the best idea.

I would use the family editor and create Swept Blend and then create to circles at different elevations then copy and mirror the object to get the result you want.

A little of topic we got a peek at a couple of the Revit Extensions tools possibly coming up at AU and yeah hopefully we should get some really nice ones.

It did cross my mind to use a swept blend but at this stage we don't model all of our reinforcement so when I have needed it I can get away with 2D representation.
