Does anybody know how to save out a raster image?

I have been given a DA model with some nice raster images of plants etc and need to use them in a new project for the same client.
Is there a way to get the raster image out of the exisitng file and into a library so we can use them again?

Do you mean renderings?

No not renderings.
I have been given a design Deveopment model and the plan and elevation views have some 2d raster images of some plants and trees.
We need to use these on another project, but dont have the original images.
Is there a way to save them out of the project into a library for use on other projects?

I came across this situation today - started working on a project that another staff member had inserted images into (from his local hard drive).

The answer is simply to 'export' the view to DWG, and Revit will make the images you need.

For a nice, clean, step by step:
1. Make a new drafting view.
2. Select the image / images you want to 'save out'
3. Copy to Clipboard
4. Paste them into the Drafting View
5. Export to DWG
6. Have a look at the folder that you exported to - there are your images!

That's a very good tip Luke! I encourage you to repost it in the Tips & Tricks forum.

Hey, that works great for "borrowing" an engineers stamp too.
