BOM question - New Item added

Hi All,

I have this drawing for a weldment. I have grouped all similar shape & size parts.

My question :

You will notice on the BOM that Item #1 has Qty = 4.
For some design requirement I need to drill holes one of these 4 tubes.
I need this tube with a hole to be a new item (#8) and the Item #1 should now show the Qty = 3
How can I achieve this?

Please guide me.

Hi,

I was able to acheive this to some extent.
I still have a question. Please refer to the attached PDF. On PAGE- 2 the frame is colored as per my requirement. On Page 1 you can notice that there are 2 Tables (Part & Material). IN the Part list, I dont want the ITEM to be numbered like the way it is now.

In the first row I need (1,2,3 & 4) to be shown as 1 and similar logic for the rest.

All the same colored tubes get the same Item number.

Can somebody help me in this.

The use of an iPart will accomplish what you need, as long as all of the iPart parameters are created correctly.

BTW: Was this created using the Frame Generator?
