Don't see ribs in my metal deck in the floor

I am using Revit Structure 2008.
I am trying to sketch a basic floor: 3” LW concrete on 2” Metal deck. For some reason, I don’t see the metal deck’s ribs in my sections, and I really need that for my details. No matter, in what direction I draw my section, I only see 5 inches of solid concrete.
When I try to perform the same operation in a new project, I am able to see the ribs. But, when I sketch a new floor with the same properties in my project-in-progress, there are no ribs.
If you have any idea why this is happening, please let me know.

You might have insert the metal deck profile into the slab structure so they show up in your details.

I got it fixed finally. Now, is there a way to make ribs run in a different direction, perpendicular to what it's used to be?

The ribs are shown the along the slab span direction.
If you want the ribs going the other way you need to rotate (or change) the slab span direction.
