Copy / Monitor Floor Slabs - Lose Point Shaping?

Hi all,

Please see the attached jpeg of a Copy / Monitor test environment.

When I copy / monitor floor slabs, I seem to lose the point by point shaping of the floor elements. Can anyone confirm? Is this the best I can expect? Do I need to copy / paste the floor elements between projects?
