daylight savings time on and off

can I set daylight savings time on and off for my shadow studies?

thanks, I guess this is only in 2009 since my 2008 doesn't have this (see screen shot)

Hi Sami,

Sorry man, Accurender seems like such a long time ago I am sorry.
However, I seem to recall that you can access / set for daylight savings time, so I hope someone else with 2008 still running can help.
Otherwise, you can fudge the time by advancing or retarding the render date / time by your daylight savings amount, but not having it show on the output - eg if you are rendering or evaluating in Hidden Line at 3.42 pm on March 25, add your daylight savings time to it and carry on.

I do not mean to sound either dismissive or casual about something which sometimes can be a quite serious matter, its just that well, we are not in the business of saving lives in a medical situation...its just a shadow ! I think we can take ourselves too seriously.
