Phase filter bug with linked revit files

Can anyone tell me why a linked revit file displayed by host view won't pick up the proper phase filter for the Show New & Demo and the Show Previous & New phase filters? Is this a known bug?

I have other projects with similar situations and the linked files display correctly for all phase filters but I have a current project that isn't working. When I set the view phase filter to Previous & New, and I set the linked files to show by host view, the linked file is showing phase filter: <by host view> (none).

Use Transfer Project Standards to make sure the phase filters are the same in the host and linked projects.
