I am using the default break line in detail views. When I place it, and adjust the cropped area nothing happens. The region doesn't crop anything? However, I have found that the same break line works as expected in floor plan views. Does the break line only work in a floor plan view? Is there a way to make it work in a drafting view?
Thank you in advance for your help.

It works in detail view but you might have to select it and usethe Bring Forward from the Option Bar if you added elements later.

Select the break symbol and take a look at the Options Bar...there should be 4 buttons for Draw Order. Bring it to Front and you should be set.

Another thing to check is if the view is set to Wireframe. Nothing will mask other things if a view is set to Wireframe.

I tried the "Bring To Front" button and the "Bring Forward" button and neither worked. I opened the family to edit. I have all the levels of visibility selected. I also selected bring to front in the family and reloaded it into the project but nothing changed. I looked in the Elemant Properties also. There isn't any settings to change it from transparent to opaque. Honestly, it didn't really look like you could adjust much at all. Is there another setting somewhere?

Thank you. That was it. I had the views in wireframe. I am creating my pier details in wireframe so the footing can be seen. In hidden I can just hide the floor and get the same visual effect.
Thanks to you all for your help!
