View Full Version : Elevation Symbol Grips Missing
Does anyone know how to get the grips to turn back on in an elevation symbol. The image on the left is from our template and the image on the right is a current project that was created from our template. Were using Revit 2009 and I seem to be at a lost on how to get them to display correctly.

Is the Crop View checbox... check in the Element Properties?
I wish it was that easy, but yes it is.

Odd... When the views crop region is OFF, the dashed SIDE lines of the Far Clip space shouldnt be there... At least, they arent when i try it here. But as was suggested, thats the only way i can see that the grips go away.
Can you post the file?
I ended up applying the Architectural Plan default view template to rectify this problem and haven't seen it come up again.
But for anyone thats curious, in the attached file you will see a view template called "Bad View" and when applied you will loose the blue grips on the elevation symbols.

I got curious and took a look at it.
I found that when I select reveal hidden elements and then select the elevation marker the grips will show. But I can not see where it is turned off in V/G.
It will be interesting to find out what caused this.
