Hello all,
I was curious if in Revit MEP 2009 a file can be saved to 2008 format. I had a request to model one of our new Lab Exhausters for a customer. After we sent them the file, they let us know that they are still using 2008. Any help would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there is no ability in Revit to save "back" to previous versions with native Revit file formats.

Sorry (but it's always faster the 2nd time, right?).

I agree with things being quicker the second time, unfortunately we do not have 2008. I think they are SOL. Thanks for the post.

Depending on how much work you want to do, you can download the 2008 version from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=11027062 (hopefully the link works) and run it in the 30 day "trial" mode just to get the family built.

Thanks for the information. We might take that approach.
