The more recent versions of CAD had an extremely easy gradient tool in them and we had used them to create a title block for a clients project. We are doing more work for this client, but strictly in REVIT this time, and want to use a similar title block created in Revit.

The title block has a colored gradient in it running from a PANTONE color to white. I've been through the Help Book on Revit and can't find anything related to gradient fills. DO THEY EXIST??? Or do I need to create it somehow using the Hatch Pattern tool?? Please HELP!! I even link the CAD Title block into Revit and it got rid of the gradient and changed it to a solid fill...

Welcome to the forums.
There is no gradient fill tool in Revit. In order to use one in a titleblock you will need to create it in another application and then save it as a JPEG, BMP, TIFF or PNG and load that image file into your title block family.

I was beginning to think it might come to that. Thanks for letting me know, I was getting tired of digging through this book.
