Apparently requires an .OBJ file (which Revit does not produce?). Says it has interoperability with 3ds Max (assume also Max Design?). Assume one can export out of Revit into ACAD, then out of ACAD as an .OBJ?

Anyone? This ImageModeler app is really useful.

AutoCAD cannot export .OBJ only 3DS max can I believe. Maybe try seeing what free programs convert .sat files to .obj or .3ds files to .obj I'm sure there is something out there.

Geez, you're right. And, the Modeler User Guide states the following:

Import formats Extension
Autodesk platforms *.obj
Autodesk® XML *.rzi

Hi all,

Ok, Trombe.... but have you ever find a succeding way to export a textured survey/building from IM-09 to put into Revit "as something" (conceptual/insitu volumetry/familly/massing element....) which conserve objects volumetry (columns different form boxed object) AND textures in any way ?

I'd realy like to read you say me "YES !" (and the detail ! ;oP )

Off post, but where on the subscription page can I download ImageModeler? It's supposed to be for subscription users only but it's download location is eluding me
