Curved Plan Region

I have an arena project, and there is an existing curved platform area that is 3 feet higher than the adjacent areas. There is no reason to create a unique view for this platform, so I decided to use a plan region within my current view so that I could adjust the view range for the platform area... I have done these before pretty good success, but I never noticed that when you go to sketch out the plan region, there are no Line tools for drawing a curved plan region boundary, nor will it allow me to pick my curved platform lines.

I can get by if I use many tiny segments, but I thought I would post just in case anyone has run into this issue.

No curves in Plan Regions - sadly.

Try using a callout plan view, and adjust the View Depth for the raised area.
(essentially the same thing as a plan region)

It would be nice, and has been requested thousands of times, if Autodesk would provide
non-rectangular callouts for Revit. Hopefully in next release?
