Revit Look up Functions

While scouring the internet for Revit material I came across a couple of blog that mentioned for Revit MEP you could do a "lookup function" for a external csv file in the family editor. Does anyone know is this just limited to Revit MEP or can you use that function in Revit Structures.

Would be a great feature for structure, but i would be happy for more type catalogue functionality.

Has this changed for 2010? Are we able to take advantage of 'Lookup' in RA or RS?
