Schedule for Slab Edge

I have Revit Architecture 2009. I need to be able to schedule the volume of the slab edge. My project is a residential home with a slab foundation (no cellar). For my slab edge I created a new profile that includes the footing (see attached file). I need to add the volume of this edge to the volume of the slab in order to calculate the concrete needed for my foundation. Among the properties of the slab edge I see Length and Volume, but both of them are grayed out.
How can I make this value available to my structural foundation schedule?
