relocated objects?

does anyone have any advice on how to show relocated objects in a schedule?

i have 2 existing buildings with a lot of equipment in them and we need to have a schedule that shows where the equipment was originally located, whether or not it's being reused or not, and which building it ends up in if it's being relocated. is there any way that i can use Phases to automatically show this or am i going to have to do a lot of typing in the schedule?

You cannot "schedule" or "capture" the phase of an object in a schedule. You can make a schedule that only lists the existing items, and one that lists the final items, but not one that lists a "previous" location, and a new location.

thanks scott, i had a feeling this was the case. i ended up added parameters for all the equipment to show the existing locations (this was an extremely tedious process considering there are over 1000 pieces of equipment) and the new schedule i created automatically shows the relocated room location. it was a lot of work up front, but it seems to be working pretty seamlessly now. thanks again!
