Has anyone else noticed that when editing materials by selecting a pantone color Revit for some reason disassociates your keyboard form your computer. The only way that I have found to solve this is to restart the computer.

I have been running Revit Architecture 2009 from the release date earlier this year and only ran into this last night and this morning.

Actually you don't have to restart, just click the letter "F" . Don't ask why. I thought this had been fixed in the 2nd web update. But if not F works.

Run Web Update 3 (WU3) and it will fix this little problem.

I didn't realize it was the letter "f" specifically, but banging on the keyboard worked just as well.

The x64 version of Revit should have never had this bug, since it was released with WU2. There is a WU3 patch for x64, you can download it in the usual place (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=9262388).

Great, I did both I pressed "f" and it worked.....I will try that for all future problems just to see why it works. And I also downloaded and installed the updates.

One more question, for those few of us not on subscription, what is the best way to keep track off any updates?

I like Steve Stafford always keep the list of current updates and the link for download as well on his blog at www.revitoped.com

Look at the top right corner.
