Problems with railings attaching to stairs

Hi,

I have a problem about my railings. The railings isn't attached to the stair itself - instead of that, they're hovering a bit above them. I was hoping there would be a simple solution for this, that I unfortunately missed during the proces of adjusting the stairs.
Can someone please help me getting out of this problem?

You need to do a couple things. 1. is to edit the railing properties to extend balluster to tread. 2 is to edit the sketch of the railing and ed the top of the landing split the line of the railing at the top riser . finish sketch. See if it goes flat. if not, edit again and play with the join condition parameters of that line, one is flat.

You could also try to edit the railing and in sketch mode choose Set Host and then pick the stair.
