No Backups?

I am trying to revert to a backup of a local file. The backup folder shows plenty of .dat and .rws files from previous saves and incremental backups, but when I go to File --> Backups, nothing is visible in the dialog box. Any ideas?

I'm wondering the same thing, as I just experienced this yesterday.

Browse to your backup folder. No need to select anything, just click open once there. That will open up the roll back/save as dialog box.

Backups for workset-enabled projects are not the same as regular projects. You pretty much should stay away from the backup folder! You have to roll back your file instead. Before doing so, I usually make a copy of my local/central as you cannot "roll it forward" if you go too far back.
