Has anyone come across a way to create custom arrow heads in IV2008? So far i've come across nothing, but surely there must be a back door or something to achieve this?
Cheers

Are you aware of these styles?

Sorry, I don't know anything about "Inventor" but there is a way in vanilla AutoCAD to do this, (but you're probably aware of this huh?)

JD - Yeah, Aware of those ones, what i'm after really is a "blunt" arrow head... it's for a pretty specific application.
Tedg - No, not aware how to do it in ACAD, i don't work with it much any more, thanks anyway.

I guess what I'm asking is, are there ACAD functions in Inventor? Or can you import dimension styles into Inventor?
If so, you could create a user arrow in ACAD and import that into Inventor.
I could talk you through it if you'd like, it's pretty easy.
Just a thought, but like I wrote earlier, I don't know anything about Inventor and it's relationship with AutoCAD.

I would do an Inventor Sketched Symbol.

Yeah tried that.. doesn't give me the result i'm looking for... it works to a point, but the solution is too clumbersome for what i need...

How does Inventor generate the graphics for the arrowheads? Does it use predefined symbols, and if so, where are they stored?
