Code/Life Analysis Text....

I've been looking for a decent way to implement the code/life analysis plan and after reading the forums I still haven't found a half decent way. The level by level with schedules are fine, but I'm trying to import whatever (DWG, JPEG, EXCEL, WORD...), to come up with the "narrative sheet",

I don't know for sure what you are looking for, but maybe the attached file will help. It has two drafting views in it. The Code references were originally set up for K thru 12 educational, but ban be modified for other occupancies.


Does anyone have an answer to the text based problem that Revit has.

IF you have the narrative written, in Word, you can OLE that into AutoCAD, then link that DWG into Revit. In that way the Word document does does stay "live"

I haven't used it myself but I thought there was a subscription add-on that would import word or excel. Log into your subscription and dig around for the downloads...
