Is there a VB.NET procedure or module that would perform the equivalent to ODA's DWGdirectX ActiveX control? I have looked at the code in "VB.NET Programming for AutoCAD Customization" and it requires you to be in an AutoCAD session to launch a routine through the netload <CommandMethod("...")>. I would like to be able to do so by executing the code from a different VB.NET application outside of the AutoCAD Environment. Thanks for your response.
