is it possible to change the category of a view. I have a few section views that were inadvertantly entered as "detail" views, when they were intended to be wall sections. Now that many things have been done in the view - including edit cut profiles, and joined geometry- it would be nice to see it listed in the wall section tree of the project browser. Is there a way to change this without redrawing the view and then cut /paste? thanks.

In the view properties for tha section you can change the family and type between the different wall sections and the detail view at any time. I never really got why you could change sections back and forth all day long but plan callouts and plan details are not interchangable.

thanks. I get it now. I have to change the system family first, then the type.
