Once you use linework on an object, is there a simple way to restore the original linework?

Once you select the linework tool, under the family drop down box, there is type called <By Category>. This will reset the line to the original line style.

That said, if you want to reset all lines in that view, you have to click each and every one... Sort of a pain. Sometimes it's easier to simply re-create that view.

A tip on Linework.
For example: After applying it on the Elevation. Then you edit an object affected on that elevation. Remember to check back the linework. Surely the linework will revert back to original.
