Structural Column Family - Room Bounding

Hello All,

Certain structural column families seem to include an instance parameter for "Room Bounding." However, when I make a new one from the Structural Column Family Template, this newly created family does not have the "Room Bounding" parameter.

Anyone encounter this issue? Anyone know how to fix it?

From what I have experienced only concrete structural columns are room bounding. Not sure why, but my guess would be that Revit is assuming that we are going to construct a wall around steel columns, and that wood columns are placed in walls.

Just my 2 cents.
