Changing Revit License Server

We are in the process of retiring an older server and transferring our Revit License Server to a newer Windows 2008 64-Bit server. Anyone have any suggestions on what I need to know before I do this? To avoid user interruption, can you temporarily have the old license server still working just long enough to make sure the new one is working properly?

Any advice is much appreciated.
