Footing ends

I have a 4" eccentricity to my footing because it's centered under the load bearing block. But now my footings don't clean up. How can I fix this? Thanks.

what are you using to create the footings

if you are using profiles they should not have the notch at tje cormer

I created them using Structural>Foundations>wall

Try the Wall Joint tool on the wall associated to the footings

I am having this same problem. The 'edit wall join' tool does not have any effect on the foundation wall. Has anyone else figured out a way to clean up these footing corners?

Bryan, Have you tried an inplace family and joining them? I have done that in the past when I couldnt get them to work right.

This is the main reason why i never use the slab & Wall edge sweep for Foundations!
I always model my footings from Foundation Slabs. in the long run it ends up being heaps quicker

If you disallow the wall to join, it will usually clean up the footing that it is hosting. It still takes some playing around but this is the best way I have found to get the footings to behave in the way that I want them to.

it has been a few years since this thread was created. Has Revit 2012 figured a better way to fix the above mentioned problem? I have the exact same issue. I used a wall foundation to attach a footing to my foundation walls and i had to adjust the eccentricity property to complete the design and my foundation walls cleanup just fine, but the the wall foundations have a jog in them on the outside at corners. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
