Project Information (greyed out)

What would make the option for adding in project information to Grey out? I use this border all the time and now this option is unavailable on this project only? any suggestions world be great

I am having a similar problem, one of our Revit MEP models crashed, and all the title sheet shared parameters, that are grouped under project information vanished, and the project information tab became greyed out...

The parameters are visible under settings > project parameters.

I have tried to remove the parameters, and add them again, remove the title sheet family, purge the model and reload the family and parameters, still no luck.

After accessing the central file directly and performing an audit, still no joy.....

I have discussed this with our local reseller, and passed on a copy of the model. Hopefully a solution can be found.

I have sent my above problems to Autodesk support along with screen shots and a sample .rvt file.

Hopefully a solution can be found, I will keep this thread posted.

Below is the response I received from an autodesk support request regarding the above issues.

"I apologize for the delay in response. As per the updates received from the development team, they are still working on this issue and have confirmed the issue.

As per the inputs received It looks like this issue is being investigated for a possible fix and would require a code fix which would be required to fix the problem and they are planning on when to fix this issue, but I haven’t yet received any specific release date for when this issue will be addressed."

An update on the above support request.

"Here is an update on you support request from the development team. The development team has confirmed the issue, as a workaround to this issue; Project Information can be fixed by using Transfer Project Standards to transfer Project Info from an empty project."

One of our project files has fallen victim to the infamous grayed out project information bug.... :cry:

Anyone find a solution to this? My title blocks all mysteriously disappeared, and my project information is grayed out.

I transferred project standards and I can now click "project information," but, the title blocks do not display any of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try the recommended fix mentioned in the earlier post? Use the Transfer Project Standards tool to transfer Project Information from an "empty project".

Had the same problem and solved.Follow the above mentioned Workaround but tic "Project Information" AND "Project Parameters" when doing a "Transfer Project Standards".This will un-grey Project information AND Fix the title block Parameters.
