View Depth for Sections

We have cut a section in our Model which has a corridor on the side. However the Architect wants to see a Column which is at the End side but inside the building, he wants to see minimum as Possible. Moving the section is not an option here.
How would you guys approach this?....Thanks in Advance!

not super clean, but you could do two sections side by side on the sheet. They will snap in alignment with each other, so that would be easy to keep consistent, you would just have to break notes between the two files. Otherwise you could use 2d linework to mimic the column and lock it to the column itself depending on the complexity.
