What dictates the name of a DWF?

Here is what I have:
I am running a routine that will autopublish a DWF using a sheet list.
For some reason I frequently get incorrect file names.
The cad file is C067.dwg, the sheets are C067_prod-Model (setup 1, 2, 3, etc.),
and the published file wants to be C095.

I cannot change the filename during the autopublish routine.
I would assume that by default AutoCAD should make it C067 to match the
open drawing name, but it doesn't.

Any ideas?

Why are you unable to use Publish?

No, I can publish.
I am getting incorrect filenames that I have to
go into explore and rename.

Say the drawing is called Layout2.dwg and the dwf gets named something totally different. I am using an automated routine that doesn't allow me to choose a file name.
I do not see why it cannot just be Layout2.dwf. Wouldn't life be perfect?

mine always get called the name of the file plus the layout tab name (or model tab if you're plotting modelspace I suppose). I cant see why it woudl call it something totally different? Maybe you need to reinstall it?
