Basically I've got a 2D circle drawin in on a 3D model to represent the outline of a tank. No need for me to model the tank, but i can not get it to plot w/ the phantom linetype. It displays fine on the screen, but when going to plot it previews as a continuous line and plots as such. Also, for this plan view, we are using 3D clipping planes, and viewport shade plot is set to hidden. Any ideas are welcome. Just email me at curtisbm@cdm.com
Thanks in advance

First Welcome to AUGI.
USE LTSCALE Command or PLTSCALE.

IIRC, all lines are continuous in a hidden view.

If you have the viewport "shade plot" set to hidden then the linetypes should show correctly as long as it's a 2D object. I think if you use the visual styles then the linetypes will NOT show correctly. AutoCAD treats circles as 3D faces which is why objects under a 2D circle will be hidden. Try creating the circle with arcs, that's how I work around the circles hiding information that I want visible.

Doh!
The simple answer is to draw the circle in paperspace.
