System Set-up Question

I have a new system with an nVidia Quadro 3700FX, Vista 64, Intel Core i7 Dual Quadcore w/ Hyperthreading, 6Gigs of Ram, and Revit 2009-64bit does anybody have any tips/tricks for tuning Revit for renderings on something like this, with this video card. I am doing a test rendering on one done on my the old machine, and on the new one, and I am not seeing a comparable speed difference at all really. the old machine has an nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS, 4gigs Ram, Vista 32 and an Intel Dual Core 2.4Ghz processor. any input would be appreciated.

More Ram on the i7 system. Also what speed ram is in the i7? That particular processor seems to be more sensitive to the "speed" of the ram than previous processors. I believe this is due to the backside bus speed on the chipset.

That said, I'd recommend 64 bit OS, 64 bit Revit, as much fast RAM as will fit in PCI slots,
and the fastest Quad core processor you can afford.
