indirect drainage fixtures -- flow

On of my many hats is Grocery and Food Service plumbing design. I often use indirect drains. A three-compartment sink drains into a floor sink (big floor drain) via an indirect connection (air gap). Several different refrigerated cases may drain their condensate into one floor drain via an indirect connection with the code-mandated air gap.

Does Revit MEP address this indirect drainage issue?

I would build the floor sink with ability to adjust the FU's as an instance parameter. Then you just total up the related fixtures and enter it.

Thanks, I'm on top of that one. That was my work-around. The trouble is, this work-around takes out the BIM. I've got to fake-in the fixtures that should drain into a floor drain, so they will show up in my plumbing fixture shedule. Then add instance parameters to each Floor drain. Lots of room for error. I just want The Revit MEP programmers to know that indirect drainage is a valid method, is approved by the International Plumbing Code, and needs to be addressed by BIM software.
