New Downloads in Subscription Center!

Hi All,

I would like to let you know that in the last several days, we released several new downloads in the Subscription Center http://www.autodesk.com/subscription:

1) The Italian Documentation for AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2009.
The Italian Documentation for AutoCAD® Structural Detailing 2009 provides existing user manual and tutorials translated into Italian. Two ASD module is covered:
• Steel - tutorial
• Reinforcement – tutorial + manual


2) The CIS Documentation for AutoCAD® Structural Detailing 2009
CIS Documentation for AutoCAD® Structural Detailing 2009 software provides existing user manuals translated into Russian
This covers all three AutoCAD Structural Detailing modules which are:
• Reinforcement
• Steel
• Formwork Drawings.


3) Reinforcement Content for AutoCAD® Structural Detailing 2009 constitutes the supplement of the databases existing in the program in the form of bars and wire fabrics (.mdb). The current version of Reinforcement Content_Q3 is dedicated for Denmark, Sweden, Italy, India and Portugal.

Hi, sorry to put this thread here,

Clarification of surface reinforcement - bars in ASD is required.

Regarding ASD reinforcement, I would like to know how to control / change the bar overlap splice location in the Surface reinforcement - bars window. Codes allow to put the bar splice at any location subject that specified bar splice length is considered and put in stagger manner.

But some consultants refuse this way / method and they ask to put the bar splice in the compression zones / sides only.

Please find attached a PDF file showing a case of slab bottom reinforcement bars arrangement using slab surface reinforcement - bars window. The program generated the bar splice in tension zone ( I need the splice to be generated in compression zone - supposing I will give information for the location of that range when the program asks me).
I think that may be only small lisp or SP to be install !
