Demo of replacemt windows and doors

I have a project that we are working on that we need to replace the existing window and place new windows in. we demo the windows and replace the window with the same size in the same place and the existing wall builds a all where the old window was a new wall and the new window of the same size does not cut this new built wall. any ideas??

I don't know WHY that happens but I have seen it too. What I do is simply "nudge" the window using my arrow keys. Nudge it out of the position one or two strokes and then nudge it back the same amount of strokes.

Woks for me.

A couple of things come to mind:

1. Do you have the orrect Phasing? Show Previous Plus New?
2. Revit does not like to have things in theis situation put back in the exact same place.
You may have to 'move' the window slightly and it will probably show up
3. Create the new window 1/4" smaller than the original one
