Is there a simple way to toggle on and off underlays and imported dwg images without going through the visibility graphics or viewport properties boxes?

Maybe slightly quicker to type "VV", to bring up the vis graphics menu, then click on Dwg/Dxf/Dgn.
There are no direct link hot keys, buttons.

Another way to possibly do this is by setting up View Templates
1 template showing dwg files etc and 1 not
Then just apply the different view templates as required.

Good point Phil,

For those who count clicks, the template method is 4 clicks and the keyboard shortcut is 4 clicks ... if you count "VV" as a click.

Its really a matter of what takes your fancy. I think the template method is possibly better, because once you're set them up, you have full control over the appearance of the view.

Thanks for the feedback. At least I know that I wasn't missing something obvious. I think that I will make this a wishlist item.
