Door Schedule Questions

Hi all... I swear I searched first! But I'm still having some difficulty with Door Schedules.

According to this link (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=54917&highlight=DOOR+SCHEDULE), I can put associated room number information into a door schedule. More specifically, a From / To Room number.

When I review the door schedule fields, this parameter is not available to me. Is it a multi-category schedule, or something like that?


This thread (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=88761&highlight=DOOR+SCHEDULE) is a wishlist item, to allow a door schedule to list the thickness of the adjacent embedded wall. Is this not possible? If you make a shared parameter, and demension the parameter within the door family, will the value adjust based on the thickness of the host wall?

When putting Fields into your schedule, in the fields selection dialog box, in the lower Left Corner where it says doors, pull it down and then you should see rooms. That is where the to and From info is.

No, it won't work, when you provide a default number to the parameter on the thicknes of the wall, and place it in a different thickness, it will give an error, and delete that type of door.

You can only (without programming) do that outside revit.
