I am a bit baffled by some of the type properties for rectangular mullions. There are "Width on Side 1" and "Width on Side 2" parameters, but I don't see a relationship between the position of the glass and the these parameters. Any insight would be helpful!

Also, Is there a way to create mullions that have custom extrusion shapes.

Thanks in Advance

that is the width on each side of the curtain grid, it has nothing to do with the glass location. the glass location is determined by the panel properties.

The custom extrusion issue has been discussed before and is, I believe on the development teams radar for future releases. If you need them now (and why would you ask the question if you didn't) then I think that the answer lies in wall hosted families and/or sweeps to achieve what you need,

I don't have a worked example but the discussions that have taken place here previously related to silicon butt joints with spider brackets supported on some from of steel framing and whether this assembly could be modelled as a mullion offset from the glazing

Thanks guys. The wall sweep idea is good. Your input is appreciated.
