looked like i had done it right.....then, (changed a window family added a transom but it doesn't look light in the model

i added transom to window family then changed the trim (in the window family) to fit with the transom....i just need the look in elevation (for this job it needs to look like a brick mould)....then when i put it in the job it looks like this.....

As I can see, there's no reference planes on top of the transom to lock your trim to it. Try adding it and make sure the sketch of your trim is locked to it.

Also, try flexing it with different sizes while in the family editor and see if it works before loading into the project.
