I have read somewhere on this site about the .pcp file having to do with ACAD pen table.

I have opened this file and looked at it and it just seems to go in color order from 1 to 255

I am not sure how to use this file or what it is even used for?

Can some one shed some light on this for me...

Thanks

This is used for exports to Autocad, as it uses the pcp file to assign penweights
for printing.

Do a search on the Autocad forums.

Pcp file format is used for lineweight definitions for AutoCAD R14 or older files. It is basically useless. Not unless you are still using an antiquated version of AutoCAD. I usually delete them whenever Revit creates/exports AutoCAD files.

You can import the pcp when creating color table style in acad to match the Revit lineweight
