Using Vault with student version of C3D

Hi!

(sorry if this is trivial, I am new to C3D and Vault).
I installed a student version of C3D 2009 and now want to explore Vault add-in that comes with the software. Is that possible for me to use Vault without having ADMS installed on my machine? Or, is there a student version for ADMS?

I am working independently, so there is no other Vault server setup on my network. Therefore, I have to install whatever is required by myself.

The Vault add-in is just a way for you to reach a Vault server through Civil 3D. Without an ADMS client installed, you can't use it.
Don't think there's a student version of that either.
