Just downloaded it and tried for the first time.
A0 sheet printed in full or 1/2 size comes without any annotations or dimensions, no matter which resolution chosen. Smaller paper sizes (plotted to fit) at resolutions up to 300dpi show all annotations and dimension lines but no dimension strings. Also, at resolutions up 300dpi, building elements geometry is deformed.
See attached images.

Just downloaded it and tried for the first time.

I didn't know Revit could write DWF (which isn't saying much about my Revit knowledge).
Where did you download it from?

Kim

It's on Autodesk's site

I was attempting to print very large Revit files to DWF, some over 100mb. The program crashed and left a 0 byte DWF file. I never solved the problem, but since they were for archive purposes, i just archived the central file instead.

Sort of defeats the purpose of DWF, doesn't it?

It's interesting that Autodesk isn't aware of this problem since majority of Revit projects are well over 20 megabytes. I was attempting submission for Autodesk's Building Design Contest and DWF format is listed as main presentation board. It would be interesting to know how many Revit submissions will the get.

I use the DWF writer almost exclusivily. The only problems I have run into are with Text, to solve it I need to set my color settings to COLOR and it takes care of the problem. I *think* it must have something to do with the TTF fonts I use. Some are rather old and not shipped with Windows.

Worth a try

Cathy, if I may, you are one darling. It works.
