Has anyone made a "dashed line with an arrow" family?
I am working on setting up the FLS sheet standards. I have seen the great rated partition symbol family, I love it (thank you). But how can I make a line that is just dashed, really thick and has an arrow at the end? I need to show exit path.
Thanks.

There is also one in the tutorials avaliable for download.

The tutorials and the datasets that go with them are in different downloads. the datasets are in a series of 4 ZIP files. There is an arrow like you describe in the datasets. One of the tutorials also has a lesson on using it to create fire safety plans and travel distance schedules.

I have seen the egress path sweep one, thanks, but it does not have an arrow.
Jeffh: Do you happen to know which tutorial would have it? There is a lot to choose from in the link you sent.
Thank you.

I use the attached family, in an area plan set to Coarse Level of detail (as its set to not show up at medium and fine).

I use a Shared Paramater LENGTH = Length, and then i drop a Specialty Equipment Schedule on the Life safety plan. I use family types to seperate the different "paths", and sort them that way so it tallies up my egress distances. It only gets hairy on stairs, hehehe...

The main tutorial has the Documenting Your Projects.....Section in it I posted. As for which ZIP file the aarow family is in I am not sure. I will attach it here.
