I need to create shadow studies that are will be printed, is there a way to automate things?
I figure there are two ways of doing this both need some manual work:
1- Export solar study as JPG files, then import each one into a sheet, place text with date and time.
2- Create a view for each time, then place them into sheets (this is much more work but the only advantage is that the study gets updated automatically as the design changes) (in this case I would like to use another Revit file with the main Revit file imported into it, this way all these extra views and sheets don’t clog my main Revit file)
What I’m looking for is a way to automate things a little further.. any ideas?
