I am receiving this error message when I try to import the finish grade onto a profile. This only happens in a drawing where I keep all my profiles. I can create an existing profile and import the finish grade in other drawings located in the project. Other surfaces work fine when trying to import on a profile using Surface Profile. I only experience the problem when using the proposed surface (FG). The FG surface has been rebuilt and I even started over to eliminate the FG surface as the problem.

Error reading offpro_head from .vrt file.

I press any key and get this,
No sampled data found for roadway <b3>.
Press any key to continue...

I checked the alignment and the surface and both are in the correct location. I am running Windows XP and Civil Design 2004.

Any ideas? I'm running out.

Thanks,
Eric

Sounds like one or two things are happening here
One, the attribute block that defines the particular
profile you are working in has somehow gotten whacked.
Solution, recreate that profile.
The vertical alignment database for that roadway
<b3> has somehow gon off.
Go into that projects folder in explorer, find the VRT
folder and inside there delete the folder for <b3>
Then redefine that vertical alignment.
Or the entire VRT alignment folder header has become corrupt.
Borrowing one from a working project should resolve the problem.
Otherwise, zip up the entire project and ship it to me.
