Greetings,
I would like to add a customized plot command to the right click shortcut while on the layout tab (see attachment for clarification). I have searched the pop500 area of the acad.mnu file, but am not seeing the appropriate command grouping. Any additional direction would be greatly appreciated. We are utilizing AutoCAD 2005.

Hi Tom
Please note I've *moved* this thread from the ACAD 2005 General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58) Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

Hi
Have a browse of the following threads from the Autodesk Discussion Groups -
Model/Layout tab plotting (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=316296)
Adding a menuitem to an object right-click submenu (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=420960)
Plotting and layouts (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1152534)
layout tab curser menu (http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=426267)
Have a good one, Mike

After reading those, you should come to the conclusion that you can't. What you might try is customizing the AcadApplication.BeginCommand event and watch for the plot command. If the plot command is the current command, you you prompt the user to make a selection from options, i.e. normal plot, custom plot.

Thank you for the information, it does appear that these tabs are not customizable, something I would have never believed in AutoCAD. I will have to adapt to issuing the plot command from an icon, not all that difficult. Thank you for your input.
