Import E00 file

I've downloaded a DEM file, unzipped it as a 50 mb E00 file. I'm trying to import it into Map 3d 2009. However, it tells me 0 objects imported in 20 seconds. I need this info. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong or if there is a setting I need to change. I'm able to import smaller file sizes just fine. Any help is appreciated.

What problem are you having? DEM files or E00 files? DEM files can be brought into MAP3D with the Raster/Surface provider on the data connect.
