I just set up a model in Revit, 1st time. The arch. model has electrical fixtures laid out already, but i cannot circuit or use them since they are on the arch. model. So, how do i get rid of these fixtures so that i can add mine and not have them on top of each other when they print?

In the Visibility/Graphics dialog box, click on the "Revit Links" tab.

The linked files will be listed on the left hand side. Click the "By Host View" button on the right. It will transfer you to the "RVT Link Display Settings."

Choose the "Custom" radio button and then click the "Model Categories" tab. You will have a pull-down menu where you can choose <By host view> or <Custom>. Choose <custom>.

From there, you will have control over all the elements of the linked model. You can place your lights on top of the architect's lights and then turn off their visibility through this dialog box.

That was exactly what i was looking for. Thanks. Maybe you could help me with another issue. Im trying to print out a 24x36 sheet to show the higher-ups how the revit produced sheet looks compared to cad. However, when i print the sheet, it doesnt fill up the entire sheet. Any ideas??

On your print set up, have your Paper on the Correct Size, Paper Placement should be Center and Zoom to 100%.

I had that issue as well and this did the fix for me.
