Hi,
I don't know the terminology but I explain the problem in writing.
I'm opening a RAS model in Solibri Model Viewer and everything looks fine except some beams that show up as ifcObject instead of ifcBeam. They are part of a "combined" object. I guess the RAS user places a window in a wall and some sort of macro automatically put studs around it. The studs shouldn't be ifcObjects but ifcBeams. Is is possible to program macros so the structural members get their correct ifc belonging ? I'm not a Revit user but I use IFC models and I need it to be correct.
Cheers,
M
